Kuala Lumpur, 14 August 2026 – Coastal Contracts has secured an RM175.8 million order for the sale of an offshore support vessel, adding a significant contract to the Malaysian marine-services group’s pipeline. The transaction provides revenue visibility, but its contribution will depend on delivery timing, vessel specifications, payment milestones and the cost of completing the order.
Coastal Contracts operates across vessel construction, chartering, repair, maintenance and trading, giving it exposure to offshore activity and energy-sector capital spending. A vessel sale can generate a substantial accounting contribution when recognised, yet project cash flows may be spread across construction and delivery stages. Investors should therefore separate the announced value from profit and cash actually realised.
