Selangor, 13 August 2026 – Marine transportation provider Orkim Berhad has secured a contract extension for its Consecutive Voyage Charter (CVC) agreements with Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn. Bhd. and Shell Timur Sdn. Bhd., reinforcing its long-standing energy transport partnership and strengthening operational earnings visibility.
The contract extension, executed through Orkim’s wholly-owned subsidiary Orkim Reliance Sdn. Following the initial six-month extension, Shell retains options to extend the agreements for up to three successive six-month periods under the terms of the existing CVC frameworks. The charter contracts will continue to operate on a cargo nomination basis, with vessel movements scheduled at the charterers’ discretion according to an agreed rate schedule.
