Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 11 August 2026 – A simplified dual initial public offering framework linking Malaysia and Hong Kong will take effect next month, giving issuers a clearer route to access investors in both capital markets.
The initiative follows a memorandum signed on 23 July by the two securities regulators. It expands mutual recognition of funds to include exchange-traded funds and real estate investment trusts while opening the streamlined dual-listing channel.
