MN Holdings Secures RM122.31 Million Underground Cable Contract from Tenaga Nasional Berhad

Kuala Lumpur, 10 August 2026 – Infrastructure utilities construction and engineering specialist MN Holdings Berhad has secured a contract valued at RM122.31 million from Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) for the installation of a high-voltage underground power transmission cable in Penang, bolstering Malaysia’s power grid reliability and expanding the group’s order book.

The contract was awarded to an unincorporated joint venture between MN Holdings’ wholly-owned subsidiary, MN Utilities Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (MNUE), and Pembinaan Tajri Sdn. Bhd. (PTSB). Under the joint venture arrangement, MNUE will execute 80 percent of the total project scope, while PTSB will handle the remaining 20 percent. Both corporate partners remain jointly and severally liable for the complete execution and timely delivery of the power infrastructure works.
