Thailand’s FTA Trade Surges 21.8% to US$243.67 Billion

Bangkok, 10 August 2026 – Thailand’s trade with free-trade-agreement partners rose 21.8% year on year to US$243.67 billion in the first half of 2026, underscoring the importance of preferential market access to the country’s export and manufacturing base.

The 18 FTA partners accounted for 57.3% of Thailand’s total global trade. Exports to those markets increased 12.6% to US$105.49 billion, while imports grew 30% to US$138.18 billion.
