IOI Properties Secures SC Approval for Mega RM7.58 Billion REIT Main Market Listing

Kuala Lumpur, 7 August 2026 – IOI Properties Group Berhad has secured conditional approval from the Securities Commission Malaysia for the establishment and listing of IOIPG Malaysia Real Estate Investment Trust on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia. The regulatory milestone paves the way for one of the largest REIT initial public offerings in Malaysian capital market history, backed by a prime commercial and hospitality portfolio valued at RM7.58 billion.

Under the approved framework, IOIPG REIT will debut with an initial fund size of 5.5 billion units. The trust is set to acquire nine landmark assets from companies within the IOI Properties group for a total consideration of RM7.578 billion. The mega-portfolio comprises premier retail, office, and hotel properties, including the flagship IOI City Mall Phases 1 and 2, IOI City Towers, and PFCC Towers. The transaction also encompasses a suite of high-performing hospitality assets, including Putrajaya Marriott Hotel, Le Méridien Putrajaya, Moxy Putrajaya, Four Points by Sheraton Puchong, W Kuala Lumpur, and Courtyard by Marriott Penang.
