Hong Kong, 5 August 2026 – China’s artificial-intelligence industry is projected to generate about US$13 billion in revenue as model breakthroughs, lower usage costs and wider adoption move the market from technical experimentation toward commercial deployment.
The forecast highlights a change in the investment narrative. China’s AI sector was initially judged largely by model capability and access to advanced chips. Revenue growth now depends increasingly on whether companies can distribute tools at scale, integrate them into existing platforms and charge customers for measurable productivity gains.
