Kuala Lumpur, 3 August 2026 – Malaysia has approved RM160.82 million for 92 mosque construction projects under the MADANI administration, placing religious facilities within a broader programme of community infrastructure and public investment.
The headline allocation is substantial, but its economic significance will depend on delivery. Dividing the approved amount evenly across all 92 projects produces a simple average of about RM1.75 million per project. That figure is only a mathematical reference, not an indication that every development receives the same budget, scope or construction timetable.
