HKEX Recognises Bursa Malaysia, Opening New Pathway for Secondary Listings in Hong Kong

Kuala Lumpur, 23 July 2026 – Bursa Malaysia has been officially recognised as a Recognised Stock Exchange (RSE) by Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX), marking a significant step towards deeper capital market connectivity and providing Malaysian-listed companies with a new avenue to access international investors through secondary listings in Hong Kong.

The recognition enables companies with a primary listing on Bursa Malaysia’s Main Market to apply for a secondary listing on HKEX, expanding fundraising opportunities while enhancing their visibility among global institutional investors.
