Singapore Launches Green Infrastructure Bond Worth Up to US$2 Billion

Singapore, 22 July 2026 – Singapore has launched a green government infrastructure bond seeking to raise between S$2.1 billion and S$2.6 billion, equivalent to as much as approximately US$2 billion, as the city-state expands its sustainable financing programme.

The offering attracted more than S$5.6 billion in investor orders, indicating strong demand from institutions seeking high-quality sovereign debt with environmental objectives. The order book included about S$1.85 billion of interest from the transaction’s joint lead managers.
