Taipei, 10 July 2026 – King Yuan Electronics Co, a key semiconductor testing supplier linked to Nvidia’s artificial intelligence chip supply chain, plans to invest up to US$1.4 billion in a new facility in the United States, marking one of the Taiwanese company’s largest overseas expansion moves in recent years.
The company’s board has approved a plan to invest a maximum of NT$40 billion, equivalent to about US$1.4 billion, to build the US facility.
