Hong Kong, 7 July 2026 – BlackRock says China’s artificial intelligence opportunity should be approached as a stock-specific investment theme rather than a broad regional equity trade, as investors reassess how to capture AI exposure across Asian markets.
The view reflects growing caution over the idea that all AI-linked markets or sectors will benefit equally from the technology boom. While AI remains one of the strongest long-term investment themes globally, BlackRock believes investors need to focus on companies with direct exposure to bottlenecks, scarce inputs and clear earnings leverage.
