Kuala Lumpur, 14 May 2026 – The ringgit opened higher against the US dollar for the seventh consecutive trading day, supported by continued buying interest and improving sentiment toward Malaysia’s economic outlook.
At 8am, the local currency strengthened to 3.9265/9330 against the greenback, compared with Tuesday’s close of 3.9345/9405, extending its recent upward momentum.
