Singapore, 4 May 2026 – Bitcoin climbed above US$80,000 for the first time in more than three months on Monday, as stronger Asian equity markets, improving risk appetite and optimism over potential United States crypto legislation lifted sentiment across digital assets.
The world’s largest cryptocurrency rose as much as 1.9 percent in morning trading in Singapore to US$80,393, its highest level since 31 January. Ether and several other major tokens also moved higher, reflecting broader investor appetite for risk assets as Asian stocks approached record levels.
