KUALA LUMPUR, 20 January 2026 – SBS Nexus Berhad, a branding and marketing solutions specialist, made its official debut on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad today, marking a key milestone in the group’s corporate growth journey following the completion of its initial public offering (IPO).
The company, listed under the stock name SBS and stock code 0386, opened trading at 25 sen, with the opening volume of 5.301,800 shares.
IPO Milestone and Market Debut
SBS Nexus successfully raised RM30.63 million from its IPO exercise, positioning the group to accelerate its expansion plans across both offline and digital branding solutions. The listing gives public market access to a business that has steadily built a reputation as a one-stop branding and marketing solutions provider serving enterprises across various stages of growth.
Despite the softer opening, market observers noted that early price movements are not uncommon for ACE Market debutants, particularly for growth-oriented companies entering a competitive trading environment.
Use of IPO Proceeds
According to the company, proceeds from the IPO will be strategically allocated to support long-term expansion and operational strengthening. Key allocations include the set-up of a new headquarters, business expansion initiatives, branding and promotional activities, repayment of borrowings, working capital requirements, and settlement of listing expenses.
Management said the capital injection will allow SBS Nexus to scale its capabilities while enhancing operational efficiency as it transitions into a listed entity.
Strong Financial Growth Track Record
SBS Nexus has demonstrated robust financial growth in recent years. The group’s revenue rose from RM11.60 million in the financial year ended December 31, 2022, to RM29.92 million in FYE 2024, while profit after tax surged from RM1.58 million to RM7.60 million over the same period — representing a compounded annual growth rate of 219%.
For the nine-month financial period ended September 30, 2025, the group recorded revenue of RM33.63 million and profit after tax of RM7.12 million, underscoring continued earnings momentum ahead of its public listing.
Management Outlook
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Wong Chun Mun said the listing represents a pivotal step in the company’s evolution, enabling SBS Nexus to strengthen its position as a comprehensive branding and marketing solutions provider.
He noted that the group’s multi-channel marketing ecosystem, spanning offline branding such as out-of-home media, public relations and event management, alongside digital branding services, positions SBS Nexus to capture growing demand as businesses increasingly prioritise brand visibility in a digital-first economy.
Positioned for Expansion
Industry research cited by the company shows that Malaysia’s offline branding solutions market was valued at RM3.30 billion in 2024, while the digital branding solutions market stood at RM5.61 billion, highlighting substantial room for market share expansion. SBS Nexus currently holds a modest share of both segments, signalling growth potential post-listing.
As a newly listed ACE Market company, SBS Nexus said it remains focused on executing its expansion strategy while delivering sustainable value to shareholders over the medium to long term.
