Vietjet Launches Kuala Lumpur–Da Nang Route, Wins Top ASEAN Business Award

KUALA LUMPUR, 27 October 2025 — Vietjet has expanded its Malaysia–Vietnam network with the launch of a new direct service between Kuala Lumpur and Da Nang, offering Malaysian travellers an affordable and convenient link to Central Vietnam’s famous beaches, heritage attractions, and culinary treasures.

The launch coincides with Vietjet’s recognition as the Grand Winner in the Tourism category at the ASEAN Business Awards (ABA) 2025, held alongside the 47th ASEAN Summit in Malaysia, a double milestone that underscores the airline’s growing regional influence.

Operating daily round-trip flights, the Kuala Lumpur–Da Nang route provides greater flexibility for both leisure and business travellers. It also enhances connectivity across Vietjet’s extensive network, which already includes direct services from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Kuala Lumpur. With this new addition, Vietjet now operates 42 weekly flights between Malaysia and Vietnam, reinforcing its role as a key driver of ASEAN travel and trade integration.

Nestled on Vietnam’s central coast, Da Nang is celebrated for its long, sandy beaches, thriving dining scene, and proximity to UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Hoi An Ancient Town and Hue Imperial City. The new route opens up new opportunities for Malaysian tourists and entrepreneurs eager to explore or invest in one of Vietnam’s most dynamic cities.

To celebrate the launch, Vietjet is offering special promotional fares on all Malaysia–Vietnam routes starting from RM166 all-in (taxes and fees included) one way, available every Friday through its website and the Vietjet Air mobile app. Passengers can look forward to comfortable journeys aboard Vietjet’s modern, fuel-efficient aircraft, complemented by freshly prepared Vietnamese and international meals.

Vietjet’s recognition at the ABA 2025, hosted by the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC), highlighted the airline’s innovation, service excellence, and ongoing contribution to strengthening regional connectivity and sustainable tourism.

With a fleet of 130 aircraft serving 170 domestic and international routes, and over 250 million passengers carried to date, Vietjet continues to play a leading role in advancing tourism, cultural exchange, and economic growth across ASEAN.
