The carrier Abraham Lincoln is expected to dock on 2 September alongside two supporting vessels, bringing nearly 5,000 sailors and Marines after more than 200 days at sea. Pattaya’s hotels, restaurants, entertainment venues, transport operators and retailers are preparing for a surge in customers. Local estimates suggest each visitor could spend between 1,000 and 3,000 baht a day, creating a meaningful injection for small businesses over a limited period.
