Shanghai, China, 11 August 2026 – Retail demand for Unitree Robotics’ Shanghai initial public offering reached extraordinary levels, leaving individual investors with allocation odds of roughly one in 5,500 and reinforcing concerns that enthusiasm for humanoid robotics is pushing valuations far ahead of conventional industrial benchmarks.
Public subscriptions were about 5,526 times the shares available to retail investors, while overall retail demand was reported at more than 8,000 times the offered amount under the relevant allocation measure. The scale of oversubscription makes the listing one of the clearest demonstrations of investor appetite for embodied artificial intelligence in China’s domestic capital market.
