MACAU, 4 January 2026 — The TVB Anniversary Awards 2025 (萬千星輝頒獎典禮2025) saw News Queen 2 (新聞女王2) emerge as the biggest winner in the Greater Bay Area categories, with Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) and Sheren Tang (佘诗曼) clinching the titles of Greater Bay Area’s Favourite TVB Actor and Greater Bay Area’s Favourite TVB Actress, respectively. The series also secured Greater Bay Area’s Favourite TVB Series.

Bosco Wong was honoured for his portrayal of the widely disliked character “Kingston” in News Queen 2. Taking the stage, the actor reacted emotionally to the recognition.
“Oh gosh, my mind’s gone blank!” he exclaimed.
He went on to thank the directors who had cast him over the years and paid tribute to the entire production team.
“Thanks to everyone at SNK, both in front of and behind the camera. Thanks for all the insults!”
Bosco also delivered a light-hearted message to his mother.
“Thanks to my mom for always spending my money, so I have to keep acting. And she’s not in perfect health, so don’t run around too much!”
Before leaving the stage, he gave Sheren Tang an encouraging shout.
“Leave some time for Sheren!”

Moments later, Sheren Tang was announced as Greater Bay Area’s Favourite TVB Actress for her role in News Queen 2. Taking the stage in high spirits, she expressed gratitude to both her company and fans.
“I never expected to be back on this stage so soon. Without the support of my company and fans, there would be no News Queen 2. Thank you to the company for letting me meet Sister Man again through this incredible character.”
She also acknowledged the creative team behind the drama.
“We’ve had amazing producers, directors, and a very talented team of writers. Without you telling such great stories, none of this would be possible, you’re truly outstanding and deserve an award too.”
Sheren concluded with a passionate message about the future of Hong Kong television dramas.
“I hope that Hong Kong TV series will continue to thrive in different regions and places, spreading the spirit of Hong Kong drama and continuing to bring glory to Hong Kong!”
