Tulsa King Returns: Samuel L. Jackson Joins Season 3 as New Nemesis

Paramount+ is poised to return viewers to the gritty world of Tulsa King with its highly anticipated third season, premiering on September 21, 2025. Sylvester Stallone returns as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, navigating the terrain of power, loyalty, and rivalry as his criminal empire in Tulsa expands beyond its familiar borders.

This season marks a significant escalation of the stakes for Dwight, as he confronts a formidable adversary in the form of Samuel L. Jackson’s Russell Lee Washington Jr. Introduced via the new season’s trailer, Washington Jr. is sent by New York bosses to eliminate Dwight—but rather than simply being an enemy, he becomes intrigued by Dwight’s entrepreneurial spirit, adding layers of nuance and ambition to their dynamic.

The season also welcomes the powerful Dunmire family—Jeremiah and Cole Dunmire, played by Robert Patrick and Beau Knapp—whose old-money influence and ruthless methods force Dwight to battle for everything he’s built. An FBI threat enters the fray with Kevin Pollak cast as Special Agent Musso, a lawman “with an axe to grind.” Meanwhile, Bella Heathcote, as distillery heiress Cleo Montague, and James Russo, as Quiet Ray Renzetti, a poised New York mob boss, enrich the roster of new arrivals this season.

Calling the shots this season is showrunner Dave Erickson, who helms the series after previously working on Mayor of Kingstown. With Erickson at the narrative helm, and seasoned actors anchoring the storyline, Tulsa King is gearing up for a season of power plays, alliances, and electrifying confrontations.
