Singapore Revokes BSquared Crypto Permit Over Serious Regulatory Breaches

SINGAPORE, 20 May 2026 – Singapore’s financial regulator has revoked the Major Payment Institution licence of Bsquared Technology Pte Ltd, marking a firm enforcement action against a digital asset operator found to have committed serious regulatory breaches.

The Monetary Authority of Singapore said the revocation took effect on 14 May 2026, meaning BSquared Technology is no longer permitted to provide regulated payment services in the city-state. The action reinforces Singapore’s position that digital asset and payment firms must meet high standards of governance, compliance and operational discipline to remain within its regulated financial ecosystem.
