Singapore, 22 July 2026 – Prime Minister Lawrence Wong has announced a wide-ranging Cabinet reshuffle that promotes younger officeholders, brings labour chief Ng Chee Meng back into government and places greater emphasis on energy security and workforce transformation.
Most of the appointments will take effect on 27 July, while the Ministry of Trade and Industry will become the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry from 1 October.
