Sime Darby-Terberg JV Secures RM200 Million Pre-Orders for New EV Terminal Tractor

Kuala Lumpur, 7 May 2026 – Terberg Tractors Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a joint venture between Sime Darby Industrial Sdn Bhd and Netherlands-based Royal Terberg Group BV, has secured more than 250 pre-orders worth about RM200 million for its next-generation electric terminal tractor, the YT201EV.

The fully battery-powered terminal tractor was launched in Pasir Gudang, Johor, as demand rises for lower-emission equipment across ports, logistics yards, industrial facilities and distribution hubs. The pre-orders came from domestic and international customers, including markets such as Morocco, Ivory Coast, Congo and Ecuador.
