SGX Explores Single-Stock ETFs as Multi-Asset Strategy Expands

Singapore, 12 August 2026 – Singapore Exchange is considering a wider range of exchange-traded funds, including possible single-stock and leveraged products, as it seeks to deepen its position as Southeast Asia’s leading multi-asset marketplace.

The exchange currently lists 53 ETFs with more than S$21 billion, or approximately US$16.4 billion, in assets under management. Management wants broader representation across regions, asset classes and sectors, subject to investor demand and appropriate market structure.
