Kuala Lumpur, 21 September 2026 – S P Setia Bhd has opened the 100-acre Setia Fontaines Heritage Park at its integrated township in Kepala Batas, Penang, strengthening the developer’s placemaking strategy and adding a destination-scale amenity to the project. The park forms part of a broader master plan that combines housing, commerce, recreation and planned employment areas, giving investors another indicator of how the group intends to build demand and long-term value across its northern land bank.
The park sits within the wider Setia Fontaines development and incorporates a 63-acre man-made lake and musical fountain. Its scale distinguishes it from a conventional neighbourhood amenity and positions the facility as a potential attraction for Seberang Perai Utara and the wider northern region. Community programming, wellness space and tourism-related activities can help convert physical infrastructure into regular visitor traffic, although the commercial effect will depend on sustained activation rather than an opening event alone.
