SCIB Secures Penampang Residential Co-Development to Broaden East Malaysian Property Footprint

Kuching, 7 August 2026 – Civil construction and engineering specialist Sarawak Consolidated Industries Berhad (SCIB) has entered into a strategic co-development agreement with Inland World Sdn. Bhd. to jointly undertake a high-rise residential project in Penampang, Sabah. Executed through SCIB’s wholly-owned subsidiary, SCIB Ecobuild Sdn. Bhd., the partnership marks the group’s formal entry into property development, moving up the industrial value chain to capture margin upsides beyond traditional engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) contracts.
