Petaling Jaya, 6 October 2026 – Samaiden Group Bhd’s first engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning contract under Malaysia’s Large Scale Solar 5+ programme has strengthened revenue visibility through financial years 2027 and 2028, moving the renewable-energy contractor closer to its RM1 billion order-book ambition.
The project covers a 99.99MWac solar plant being developed for YTL Power International Bhd and was awarded by Syarikat Pembenaan Yeoh Tiong Lay Sdn Bhd. The contract value was not disclosed by the company. Independent estimates have ranged from about RM250 million to RM300 million, so investors should treat those figures as analyst assumptions rather than confirmed consideration.
