San Francisco, 16 September 2026 – Salesforce has introduced Koa, a customer relationship management reasoning model developed with Nvidia technology, as enterprise software vendors seek greater control over the AI systems embedded in customer-facing workflows. The announcement shifts attention from general model capability to the practical requirements of business applications, including permissions, dependable execution and control over deployment.

Announced on 15 September, Koa is built on Nvidia’s Nemotron 3 Super model and tailored for Salesforce’s Agentforce platform. Salesforce says it trained the model using synthetic scenarios drawn from its accumulated CRM expertise, without using customer data. The company controls the resulting model weights and can operate inference within its own trust boundary, giving it a more direct role in the model’s deployment and governance.
