Kuala Lumpur, 5 August 2026 – Rosmah Mansor has applied to stay enforcement of a High Court order requiring her to pay RM67.4 million to a Lebanese jewellery company, citing a bank balance of about RM100,000 and concerns about recovering the money if her appeal succeeds. The underlying order was issued in June after the court found Rosmah liable for 43 missing jewellery pieces delivered on consignment in February 2018. The judgment required payment of RM67,461,027.37 to Global Royalty Trading SAL, representing the claimed value of items that were not returned. The company had sought either recovery of the jewellery or payment after bringing its action in 2023.
