Kuala Lumpur, 14 October 2026 – The ringgit opened marginally higher against the US dollar on Wednesday as investors reassessed the Federal Reserve’s rate path and a weaker dollar index supported Asian currencies. At 8am, the local unit stood at 4.0830/0880, compared with 4.0835/0880 at Tuesday’s close.
