Perdana Petroleum Narrows 1Q2026 Losses as Vessel Utilisation Improves

KUALA LUMPUR, 20 May 2026 – Perdana Petroleum Berhad delivered a more resilient first-quarter performance for 2026, supported by improved vessel utilisation in its Anchor Handling Tug Supply segment, although lower activity in the Accommodation Workbarge segment continued to weigh on overall profitability.

The offshore marine support services provider recorded revenue of RM42.2 million for the first quarter ended 31 March 2026, compared with RM37.6 million in the corresponding quarter last year. Vessel utilisation improved significantly to 55% from 31% a year earlier, reflecting better deployment across selected parts of the fleet.
