OSK Acquires RM44.34 Million Land in Subang Jaya for RM427 Million Serviced Apartment Project

Kuala Lumpur, 1 October 2025 – OSK Holdings Bhd, through its property arm, has acquired a 3.312-acre freehold parcel in Subang Jaya from Tropicana Metropark Sdn Bhd for RM44.34 million, with plans to develop serviced apartments valued at RM427 million in gross development value (GDV).

The deal was struck via Perspektif Vista Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of OSK Property Holdings Berhad. The land lies within the Tropicana Metropark masterplan and benefits from established infrastructure, connectivity, and proximity to amenities.

According to OSK’s disclosures, the project is targeted toward young house buyers, with serviced apartments forming the core product offering. The acquisition will be funded through a combination of internally generated funds and bank borrowings, with the transaction expected to complete by the first quarter of 2026.

By reinforcing its landbank in the Subang-Shah Alam growth corridor, OSK aims to position itself in a mature township favored for its connectivity to Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, and other key nodes. The group believes demand remains strong for quality, well-located developments offering lifestyle and value.

For investors and stakeholders, this acquisition signals continued confidence in select Klang Valley submarkets and points to the growing importance of mid-to high-density residential development in land-scarce areas. OSK’s land bank as of end-June stands at some 2,475 acres with an estimated GDV of RM18.5 billion.
