OpenAI Weighs 100,000 Sq Ft Singapore Office at Shaw Tower

Singapore, 14 August 2026 – OpenAI is in talks to lease about 100,000 square feet at Shaw Tower, a move that would materially expand its physical footprint in Singapore. The proposed space is sizeable for a technology office and would reinforce the city-state’s role as a regional base for artificial-intelligence deployment, enterprise partnerships and talent.

Shaw Tower at 100 Beach Road has recently completed redevelopment and offers more than 400,000 square feet of Grade A office space within the expanding Ophir-Rochor business corridor. A lease of the reported scale would make OpenAI a major occupier and provide an early validation of demand for the newly completed building.
