Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, 12 August 2026 – NXP Semiconductors is expanding its Malaysian assembly and testing footprint with a highly automated plant that is expected to more than double the company’s production capacity in the country once fully operational.
The North Campus will be operated by NXP Malaysia in the Sungai Way Free Trade Zone in Selangor, less than 500 metres from the company’s existing South Campus. Completion is targeted for the first quarter of 2028, with commercial operations scheduled to begin after construction and commissioning.
