San Francisco, 23 August 2026 – A new artificial intelligence foundation model dubbed Ox Alpha has ignited widespread interest across global software engineering communities after making an unannounced debut with free, near-unlimited access, while the identity of its creator remains undisclosed.
The multimodal model appeared on artificial intelligence marketplace OpenRouter under a “stealth model” designation. Technical specifications indicate that Ox Alpha features a context window of approximately one million tokens, capable of processing large-scale text queries, high-resolution imagery, and video inputs.
