Jakarta, 13 August 2026 – Southeast Asia secured no additions to MSCI’s Global Standard Indexes in the latest quarterly review, while four prominent regional companies were removed, increasing investor focus on liquidity, passive fund flows and benchmark representation.
The deletions comprise Singapore’s Sembcorp Industries, the Philippines’ Ayala Land, and Indonesia’s GoTo Gojek Tokopedia and Charoen Pokphand Indonesia. The changes are scheduled to take effect after the close of trading on 31 August. Malaysia and Thailand recorded no constituent changes.
