Shanghai, 31 July 2026 – Chinese artificial-intelligence developer MiniMax has released its H3 video model, adding another product to a fast-moving contest over generative media. The launch positions the company against domestic and international rivals seeking to turn text prompts and images into coherent, commercially usable video.
Video generation is among the most demanding AI applications because models must maintain characters, objects, lighting and motion across many frames. Improvements can reduce production time for advertising, entertainment, games and social media, but commercial adoption depends on reliability, controllability and cost rather than demonstrations alone.
