Kuala Lumpur, 24 August 2026 – Malaysia’s Leading Index (LI) expanded 1.3 percent year-on-year to reach 114.8 points in June 2026 from 113.3 points in the same period last year, indicating that the nation’s near-term macroeconomic trajectory remains positive, according to official data released by the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) on Monday.
