Singapore, 9 October 2026 – Malaysia Aviation Group is strengthening its maintenance, repair and overhaul platform through seven partnerships spanning aircraft manufacturers, component specialists, engineering providers, logistics and another airline. The strategy is designed to improve fleet reliability and supply resilience while giving the group a stronger base from which to sell MRO services to external customers across a growing Asian aviation market.
The partnership group includes Thales, Airbus Flight Hour Services, Air France Industries KLM Engineering and Maintenance, Boeing, Collins Aerospace, CEVA Logistics and Batik Air Malaysia. Announced around the MRO Asia-Pacific event in Singapore, the agreements cover access to critical parts, maintenance planning, engineering support, material movement and third-party work. Together they address operational bottlenecks that can keep aircraft grounded and raise unit costs.
