Putrajaya, 5 August 2026 – The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has arrested a former chief executive officer and former chief financial officer of a government-linked company over a RM370 million transaction involving shares in a plantation business.

The two former senior executives were detained to assist an investigation into the transaction, which involved the use of funds belonging to the government-linked entity. The identities of the suspects and the companies involved had not been publicly disclosed at the time of publication.
