KUALA LUMPUR: KPJ Healthcare Berhad (โKPJ Healthcareโ) has signed a strategic multi-year agreement with LAC Medical Supplies Sdn Bhd (โLAC Medical Suppliesโ), a subsidiary of LAC Med Berhad, to implement a centralised Enterprise Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) across its nationwide network of 30 hospitals. The new system will be supplied by Philips and implemented by LAC Medical Supplies.
The signing ceremony, held at Menara KPJ, marks a significant milestone in KPJ Healthcareโs digital transformation under the KPJ Health System, with full implementation targeted within 24 months.
The enterprise PACS solution will connect KPJ hospitals on a single imaging platform, enabling secure access and real-time collaboration among clinicians. It will also be integrated into the KPJ Cares mobile app, giving patients convenient and secure access to their medical imaging results.

It comes with AI-driven visualisation tools, multi-site capabilities, and robust compliance features. These capabilities are expected to enhance diagnostic accuracy, streamline workflows, and safeguard patient confidentiality, while supporting scalability across KPJโs expanding hospital network.
This partnership reflects KPJ Healthcareโs strategy of continuous innovation, combining clinical care, education, and research to strengthen Malaysiaโs private healthcare landscape.
