At 9.20am, the benchmark stood at 1,681.17, up 1.96 points or 0.12% from its previous close. It had opened 1.71 points lower at 1,677.50. The figures describe the morning session, not the day’s closing outcome. The quoted point and percentage changes are consistent with the previous benchmark level of 1,679.21.
