UNITED STATES, 14 October 2025 – Pop star Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have fueled relationship rumors after they were photographed kissing on Perry’s yacht over the weekend.
The intimate photos, taken off the coast of Santa Barbara, seem to confirm speculation about the unlikely pair, who were first seen together dining in Montreal shortly after Perry’s relationship split was announced.
A witness reported seeing the two embracing and kissing after Perry pulled her boat up next to a public whale-watching vessel. The sighting comes just months after both celebrities ended long-term relationships.
Perry, 40, announced her separation from ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom in July, and Trudeau, 53, announced his separation from his wife Sophie Gregoire Trudeau in August 2023.
A source previously told a magazine in August that the two were “interested in each other,” but that it would take time to see where the relationship would go, as Perry is currently traveling for her tour and Trudeau is adjusting to life after stepping down as Prime Minister.
