United States, 18 September 2026 – JPMorgan Chase is preparing an operations leadership transition in its asset and wealth management business, with Julie Harris planning to retire in early 2027 and deputy Fred Crosnier expected to take over operations from January 1.
The role distinction is important. Harris leads operations within the asset and wealth management division; the announcement does not describe the retirement of the division’s overall chief executive. Current reporting identifies Mary Callahan Erdoes as the business’s chief executive and credits Harris with modernising operating systems as the unit expanded.
