ITMAX Secures RM79.9 Million Variation Order to Expand AI-Powered Smart Traffic Infrastructure in Iskandar Puteri

KUALA LUMPUR, 20 May 2026 – ITMAX System Berhad has secured a RM79.9 million variation order from Iskandar Puteri City Council to expand artificial intelligence-powered smart traffic infrastructure across Iskandar Puteri, strengthening the Group’s role in Johor’s smart city and urban mobility transformation.

The variation order was awarded to ITMAX’s subsidiary, Southmax Sdn Bhd, and involves the deployment of additional smart traffic light controllers across the Iskandar Puteri area. The expansion will further enhance the existing smart traffic system under the city council, known as MBIP.
