Hysan’s 7.4% Profit Growth Highlights Value of Residential Project Milestones

Hong Kong, 13 August 2026 – Hysan Development reported a 7.4% increase in underlying profit for the first half of 2026, as realised gains from residential sales supported earnings despite broadly unchanged revenue.

The largest commercial landlord in Hong Kong’s Causeway Bay district recorded underlying profit of HK$1.11 billion, equivalent to about US$140.19 million, for the six months ended 30 June. Revenue slipped 0.1% year on year to HK$1.73 billion, highlighting the role of project milestones rather than top-line expansion in the improved profit result.
