Shanghai, 17 September 2026 – Huawei has unveiled its latest Ascend 960 SuperPoD and an upgraded UnifiedBus interconnect at Huawei Connect 2026, presenting another step in its effort to build advanced AI computing systems amid semiconductor-related restrictions. The company said its UnifiedBus technology and Hi-ONE optical system could allow a SuperPoD to connect as many as 4,000 processors.
