Genting Plantations Q1 Net Profit Rises to RM68.06 Million as FFB Output Offsets Weaker CPO Prices

KUALA LUMPUR, 20 May 2026 – Genting Plantations Berhad posted a higher net profit for the first quarter ended 31 March 2026, supported by stronger fresh fruit bunch production and improved contribution from its property division, despite softer crude palm oil and palm kernel prices.

The plantation group’s net profit rose 11.0% year-on-year to RM68.06 million from RM61.26 million in the corresponding quarter last year. Earnings per share increased to 7.59 sen from 6.83 sen, while revenue edged up marginally to RM720.2 million from RM719.5 million. No dividend was declared for the quarter.
