FedEx Simplifies US CPSC E-Filing for APAC Exporters as New Rules Take Effect

Singapore, 30 June 2026 – FedEx is strengthening its support for Asia Pacific businesses as new mandatory United States Consumer Product Safety Commission e-filing requirements take effect on 8 July 2026, raising the compliance bar for exporters shipping regulated consumer products to the US.

The new requirement mandates US importers of CPSC-regulated products to electronically file required product-safety data at the time of entry into the United States. The move is designed to improve safety oversight, strengthen compliance transparency and ensure that regulated consumer goods entering the US market meet required product-safety standards.
