Shanghai, 9 September 2026 – Chinese artificial-intelligence chipmaker Enflame Technology is scheduled to begin trading on Shanghai’s STAR Market on 11 September after raising about 6.12 billion yuan through one of the year’s most closely watched semiconductor offerings. The company priced more than 43 million shares at 142.18 yuan each, representing roughly 10% of its enlarged share capital and implying a valuation of approximately 61.2 billion yuan.
Demand for the online portion exceeded the available shares by more than 6,000 times, reflecting strong investor appetite for domestic computing platforms amid continuing restrictions on access to advanced foreign chips. Enflame joins a group of Chinese AI-processor developers seeking public capital to fund product development and commercial expansion. The listing provides investors with another route into China’s drive for greater semiconductor self-reliance, but the valuation also embeds ambitious growth expectations.
